   About Us

Our Program:

The Futurehoops Academy organization is a proud member of the  Pacific AAU Association which is based out of Northern California. The PAC organization host many events throughout the year.

We were formed in 1999 by Director Alan Clark who has 18+ years experience in AAU. In 1999, having a vision I was committed to producing, a terrific program that encourages and motivates our youth to participate in not only playing basketball exemplifying top-notch sportsmanship but also to build leadership. Alan developed the " Rage" girl's basketball team with the goal of competition, with high-level basketball programs in the state of California. We continue to participate in many organized competitions, including AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), BCI (Basketball Congress International), CSG ( California State Games) and The Best of The Best competition in California.

Our AAU program has participated in tournaments throughout the state of California, Arizona and Hawaii. We are now planning on expanding the globe.

Vision:

Our expectation is to develop each player to the highest possible level through leadership, enhance their skills, training and sportsmanship.

Organization Objectives:

1)  Fundamental Development:  To help our youth to develop and enhance their basketball skills.

2)  Team Development: To create an environment for the youth that teaches and encourages the principals of team commitment and team work.

3)  Mental Development:  Assist the youth in understanding and developing court awareness.

4)  Leadership Skills:  Provide an opportunity to the youth to develop characteristics to lead, direct and guide others on and off the court. This can be accomplished thru academics and a continuous effort to mentor.

5) Athletic Scholarship:  Provide the youth through local and national exposure with the opportunity to earn an athletic scholarship.
