| As you know being part of an AAU traveling team can be very
rewarding. There should never be a time, a player is turned away due to
monetary obligations. The organization makes attempts to help offset some of
the cost. This is part of our "Each One Help One"
program. The other part is the athlete's also have to make
a committement to be involved. Each athlete will be required to raise $80
in sponsorship. The monies raised will go
towards, limiting the cost for outside team functions. Listed below is some of the many fundraisers
we will be doing. |
Free throw "Shoot A Thon"
- Team members will solicit donations for every free throw made out of
50 attempts
- After the competition, the players will
return to their sponsors to collect the money owed.
- A portion of the donations will be applied to the team participation
fees over the requirement

Candy Sales Fundraiser
- Team members will sell candy
- The money is returned to the Futurehoops
Academy organization, which in turn will rebate a portion of the
money back to the team.
Scratch & Help- Here is how it works

Rage member approach
family, friends and neighbors asking them to scratch two or more circles
for a donation to help defray team expenses.

Each booklet has 50
scratch-off circles with hidden donation amounts ranging from $.50 to
$3.00.

Donor uncovers two amounts
(ranging from $.50 to $3.00).
-
The most a donor can
scratch off with two scratches is $6.00.
-
For every two
scratch-offs, the donor receives one coupon page.

Donor receives valuable
coupons from popular franchises, in return from their donation
-
Once all circles have been
scratched off, the booklet produces $100 organization income.
